ABOUT ME

My name is Chaz Kawamura. I was born and raised in Mililani, O'ahu, Hawai'i. I moved to California in the summer of 2018. I graduated in May of 2022 at California State University, Dominguez Hills with a bachelor of arts in Journalism. I have been a part of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Inc., the CSUDH Bulletin, and the Society of Independent Journalists Club. I have a love for the outdoors along with a love for sports and hanging out with friends and family. I moved due to their being more opportunity in California as well as to pursue my dreams of being a sports/esports journalist. I loved sports ever since I started playing baseball at the age of 4. I knew I wanted to be a journalist/reporter. I am always driven to do things on time with quality. Every deadline is important. I can talk to and communicate with anyone. If there is a problem that needs to be solved, I will be there to try everything I can to solve it. After all, that is just who I am and who I want to be. Motivated for success, not for just myself, but others as well.
